Let’s start here
How many of you have ever said one of these?
“Hindi ako magaling magsalita.”
“Mahiyain ako.”
“Hindi ako leader.”
“Hindi ako pang-business.”
“Ganito na ako. Hindi na ako magbabago.”
“Baka hindi talaga ito para sa akin.”
COLD OPEN — no title card. Walk on and go straight into the question; the title comes later (slide 08). Read each line one reveal at a time and ask for a show of hands — “Sino dito ang nakapagsabi na nito?” The hands going up ARE the hook. Do not rush this.
None of those statements describe your future.
They only describe your current level of training.
Slow down. This is the promise of the entire session. Pause before the second line — let the first one sit uncomfortably.
What’s in it for you
Your brain is designed to grow.
- Your confidence can grow.
- Your leadership can grow.
- Your income can grow.
- Your dreams can grow.
If your brain can grow — everything else can too.
Four beats. Land each one before the next. Closer: “If your brain can grow — everything else can too.”
Who here knows
how to drive?
Show of hands: “Sino dito marunong mag-drive?” Wait for real hands before advancing. Pick one person and talk to them directly.
The first time you drove…
You had to consciously think about everything.
Brake
Gas
Mirror
Signal
Steering wheel
Pedestrians
Gear
Reveal one at a time as you name them, and speed up as you go. The pile-up IS the point — they should feel the overload in their body.
Now you drive without thinking. So what changed?
Did someone give you a new brain?
No. Your brain learned.
Ask the question and WAIT. Someone will say “nasanay na.” Let them. Then reveal the answer: No. Your brain learned.
Now the same question, in business
Who was nervous during their first presentation?
- Were you still nervous by your 20th?
- What about your 100th?
So the problem was never you.
Same show-of-hands move. Ask about the 1st, then the 20th, then the 100th. The laughter here is the proof — you don’t have to argue the point.
Today’s Session
Your Brain Is
Not Your Destiny
How your daily action rewires you into the person your dream requires.
NOW show the title. This is the turn from hook into teaching. Say the subtitle out loud — it’s the thesis.
Part One
Current ability is not
permanent identity.
Part One. Slow, quiet delivery. This divider is a breath, not a point.
Part 1 · The biggest mistake
Confusing where you are today with who you’ll always be.
“I am shy.”
“I am weak.”
“I am not a leader.”
“I am poor.”
“I am bad at speaking.”
Those aren’t identities. They’re descriptions of today’s skills.
Reveal each label one at a time. Then the punch: these are not identities, they are descriptions of today’s skill level.
Today’s version of you is not tomorrow’s version of you.
One line. Say it, then stop talking. Count to three before you advance.
Part Two
Your brain is built
to change.
Part Two. Tell them the word is coming — build a little anticipation before the definition.
Part 2 · The word
Neuroplasticity
Neuromeans brain.
Plasticitymeans the ability to change or be molded.
Your brain can physically change, adapt, and become better — based on repeated experience and practice.
Break the word in half on purpose: Neuro = brain, Plasticity = can be molded. Then read the callout slowly. This is the core concept of the whole workshop.
Part 2 · The discovery
Scientists used to believe the brain stopped changing.
Now we know that isn’t true. Your brain keeps changing your whole life — every time you…
Learn
Practice
Repeat
Make mistakes
Try again
Your brain is literally building stronger connections.
“For years, scientists were wrong about this.” Reveal the five verbs one at a time — learn, practice, repeat, make mistakes, try again.
Part 2 · The jungle path
Imagine a thick jungle.
1The first person struggles — there is no path.
2The second person finds it slightly easier.
10The tenth person makes the path obvious.
∞Eventually, everyone naturally follows it.
Reveal the four photos one at a time — it is the same jungle each time, only the path changes. Say it as you click: no path… slightly easier… obvious… everyone follows. Then land it: “Ganyan ang utak mo.”
Every repeated action
creates a pathway.
The more you repeat it, the stronger and easier it becomes.
That’s why habits exist. That isNeuroplasticity.
Land the principle. Then: “That’s why habits exist. That is neuroplasticity.” Connect it straight back to the driving story.
✦ Activity — Group into four
Born or Built?
ConfidenceLeadershipSelling
Public SpeakingSwimmingDriving
ReadingPlaying PianoListening
NegotiatingBusinessEmpathy
Sort them into two columns. You have five minutes.
ACTIVITY — 5 minutes. Group into four. Give each group paper. They sort all twelve into Born or Built. Walk the room while they argue — the arguing is the learning. Call time at 5.
Almost everything is BUILT.
So why do we still say — “Hindi ako marunong kumausap”?
Debrief the activity. Almost every group will have nearly everything under BUILT. Then hit them with the question — “So bakit sinasabi pa rin natin, ‘hindi ako marunong kumausap’?”
Part Three
The Brain Formula.
Part Three. Tell them you’re about to give them the actual formula.
Part 3 · How a person is actually built
Thought
▼
Action
▼
Repetition
▼
Neural Pathway
▼
Habit
▼
Identity
▼
Results
Build the chain one link at a time as you speak. Do not skip ahead. Identity is green, Results is gold — point at them when you land there.
Part 3 · Most people have it backwards
Results don’t create identity.
Identity creates results.
What people believe
Results create identity.
What actually happens
Repeated actions create identity.
Identity creates results.
The reversal. Most people believe results create identity. Say the correction twice: repeated actions create identity, and identity creates results.
Part Four
Confidence is earned
through evidence.
Part Four. Quiet. This is where the emotional turn begins.
✦ Activity · The Confidence Bank
On a clean sheet of paper, estimate…
Presentations you have done____
Follow-ups you have made____
Rejections you have survived____
Product stories you have told____
Invitations you have given____
Your brain believes what you repeatedly prove.
ACTIVITY — 3 minutes. Everyone needs a clean sheet of paper. Reveal one line at a time and let them write their number before you move on. Then: “Your brain believes what you repeatedly prove.”
The biggest perspective shift
“I need confidence
before I work.”
Wrong.
You don’t work because you’re confident. You become confident because you worked.
The biggest perspective shift of the session. Say the wrong belief in someone else’s voice, then say “Wrong” flatly. Let it land before the correction.
Part 4 · Reframe your brain
Same event. Different wiring.
“Na-reject ako.”
→
“Naka-complete ako ng 1 STP.”
“Nakalimutan ko ang sasabihin ko.”
→
“Alam ko na kung ano ang dapat kong ulit-ulitin.”
“Kinakabahan ako.”
→
“Natututo na ang isip ko.”
“Wala pa akong na-sponsor.”
→
“Kulang pa ang ulit-ulit ko.”
Read the left side in a defeated voice and the right side in a strong one. Same event, different wiring. Have the room repeat the right-hand version after you.
Part Five
Connect it to
your dream.
Part Five. Drop your volume here. You are about to make it personal.
✦ Activity · Close Your Eyes
Imagine yourself five years from now…
Healthy.
Financially free.
Helping hundreds.
In your dream house.
Traveling with family.
Leading thousands.
ACTIVITY — eyes closed, 2 minutes. Read each line slowly with space between. Do not rush. Let the room be silent.
“
Did that version of you succeed because confidence suddenly appeared?
Or because you kept showing up even when you weren’t confident?
Eyes still closed if you can. Ask the question gently. This is the emotional centre of the workshop.
What would Future You ask Present You to do tomorrow morning?
Ask it and let the silence sit. Do not answer it for them. Tell them to hold their answer — they’ll need it for the challenge.
Story time. Change your posture — step forward, tell it like a story, not a slide.
The story
Two men chopping down a huge tree.
- The first 100 swings don’t make it fall.
- The 101st swing finally does.
Which swing cut down the tree?
Tell the story. Then ask the question and take real answers from the room before revealing.
All of them.
The last swing only revealed what the previous 100 had already accomplished.
The answer. Say it big: ALL OF THEM. Then the quiet explanation underneath.
Business is the same
None of them seem life-changing by themselves.
- Every presentation matters.
- Every follow-up matters.
- Every rejection matters.
- Every training matters.
- Every conversation matters.
Together… they change you.
Apply it to their business, one line at a time. Slow. Then: together, they change you.
What your business is really doing
Your business is building two things at once.
Your organization
This creates the income.
- Focus only on money…
- and you’ll quit too early.
Your brain
This creates the person capable of sustaining it.
- Focus on who you’re becoming…
- and you’ll stay long enough for the money to come.
This is the retention message. Focus only on money and you quit early. Focus on who you’re becoming and you stay. Say it plainly — this is the line that keeps people in the business.
The 30-Day Challenge
For 30 days, don’t measure income. Measure your repetitions.
1
Meaningful conversations — how many today?
2
Business presentations — how many today?
3
Follow-ups — how many today?
4
One uncomfortable action you completed.
5
One lesson your brain learned today.
Give the challenge. Be specific — they track repetitions, not income, for 30 days. Tell them you will ask about it next meeting.
Every night, one sentence
“Today I rewired my brain by…”
…making two follow-up calls even though I was nervous.
…doing my first product presentation.
…asking for a referral.
…speaking in front of five people.
Activity is transformation — not just transaction.
The nightly habit. Give a real example from your own week so it feels doable, not homework.
The Declaration · Say it with me
I refuse to let my current ability define my future.
My brain is learning.
My confidence is growing.
My leadership is growing.
Every presentation strengthens me.
Every rejection trains me.
THE DECLARATION. Everyone stands. Read one line, they repeat it back. Reveal line by line — do not show the whole thing at once.
The Declaration · Continued
Every conversation rewires me.
I will not wait until I feel ready.
I will work until I become ready.
My work is building more than my business.
My work is building me.
My brain is not my destiny. My daily choices are.
Continue the declaration. Land the last line hard — have the whole room say it together twice.
“
Your dream isn’t waiting for a more talented version of you.
Your dream is waiting for the version of you willing to repeat the right actions long enough for your brain to become the person capable of achieving it.
Let them sit back down. Read the closing quote slowly. This is the takeaway they should text to someone tonight.
My brain is not my destiny.
My daily choices are.
The last teaching line of the workshop. Say both halves, then stop and let it sit before you advance — the thank-you slide is the goodbye, not this one.
PENG MENDOZA · LIFESTYLES
Thank you.
To God be the Glory.
Your page. Step away from the screen and thank the room in your own words. Reveal “To God be the Glory” last and close there.
